For us, Bras Basah.Bugis (BBB) Precinct is the living heritage district of Singapore. Off the usual beaten track of tourists, it is an area where our local culture is constantly being made, preserved and remade.

The charming old buildings and the rich culture heritage of the area has been rejuvenated with the introduction of various art organizations, schools and creative communities. We like that there is this buzz and excitement about what it means to be a stakeholder in the district, and also this question of what it means to create a “Singapore Identity” for our young nation.
