The kebaya tells a rich, multicultural story—woven through generations, across ethnicities, and stitched into the very fabric of Singapore’s past and present.

On this intimate walking tour through Kampong Glam, meet the passionate artisans and shop owners who keep the kebaya tradition alive. Feel the textures of hand-sewn fabrics, hear personal stories from a modern-day “Kebaya Girl,” and discover how this beautiful attire remains relevant in today’s fashion and culture.

Along the way, we’ll share a cup of tea, reflect on the personal significance of the kebaya, and celebrate the women who wear it with pride.

Whether you’re a heritage lover or simply curious, come walk with us—because every stitch has a story to tell.

On this Kampong Glam walking tour, we step beyond the museum displays and into the real world of those who wear and craft the kebaya today. Guided by a passionate “Kebaya Girl,” we’ll visit family-run shops, engage in heartfelt conversations with kebaya makers, and see how traditions are passed down through stories, stitches, and love.
